Where do I report a $1,000 honorarium I received from a church conference for a two-day speaking engagement. I am not a pastor. I'm using Turbo-Tax Premier.

If you receive honoraria on a fairly regular basis, then this is a business and you'll need to report the income as self-employment income on Schedule C and you can claim allowable expenses against it.

If this is occasional and just like a thank you gesture from the church then you can report it as Other Income (line 21 of form 1040).

To report it as Other Income in TurboTax, open your return and follow these steps:
